Woodland Hills Housing

Woodland Hills, lines up almost in a directly line with Encino, Tarzana and Calabasas, each affluent towns with opulent homes in their hills south of Ventura Boulevard. But in the hill section of Woodland Hills, everyday three-bedroom homes dominate. This section was developed after World War II when there was a great demand for three-bedroom homes. However, newer homes in Woodland Hills are large, upscale and custom built. Many of the homes In the hills have spectacular views of the valley below, with streets that meander through the canyons and ravines of the Santa Monica Mountains.

North of Ventura Boulevard, toward Canoga Park, Woodland Hills is flat like the rest of the valley, but set apart from the typical valley pattern, which is loaded with three or four-bedroom homes built in standard tracts.
